Training Programs

Credentialing Requirements

Not all training programs are offered at all locations and not all programs are offered continuously. Delivery of training and credentialing methods varies by program and includes classroom instruction, labs, on-site application, and online and self-directed study. Most programs use a combination of these methods to meet the needs of adult learners.

All grant-approved training programs end successfully with the participant earning at least one credential. Proof of credentialing is required from the participant and/or credentialing organization. Successful credentialing is cumulatively reported to the U.S. Department of Labor and credential copies are retained in the participant file.

If a participant fails to successfully complete or obtain a credential, funding for more advanced programs will be denied.
