Virginia Manufacturers Association

The Virginia Manufacturers Association Certified Industrial Energy Auditor (CIEA) program will train individuals to audit the business performance and operational excellence of their organization’s energy management team. In cases where no energy management team program exists, the auditor will expand the organization’s awareness of techniques, technologies and resources that will result in a reduction of energy demand, carbon footprint and costs.

Program Prerequisite Requirements

  • Industrial/power equipment experience and/or completion of approved industrial training program
  • Successful completion of the Workplace Mathematics course (learn more about prerequisite requirements from a Participant Employment Specialist or the VMA Program Contact)
